I.          INTRODUCTION:

1.      God’s Covenant with Israel – Exod 34:28 (The Ten Commandments).

2.      The spirit of the Covenant – Exod 20: 1-17 (Love God and Love your neighbours).

3.      The spirit of the Covenant in tithing – Deut. 14: 27 – 29 (Help the Levites, strangers, widows, orphans, the poor and needy).

4.      The spirit of the Covenant in the New Testament – Mtt 23: 23, 24; James 1: 27; 2 Cor 8: 13 – 15 (Showing mercy, hospitality; helping the widows and orphans – faithfulness to the covenant).

II.        BENEFICIARIES:

1.      Strangers (Including host community) – Deut. 26:12; Lev 19: 9,10.

2.      Widows - Deut. 26:12;

3.      Orphans (Including orphanage homes) – Deut. 26:12;

4.      The aged –

5.      Widowers (who are old) –

6.      The less privilege (Area youths) –

7.      Students –

8.      Ministers (Levites; priests)- Deut. 26:12;

III.       QUALIFICATION:

1.      Host Community of “We Care and Scholarship Foundation” (WECASFO).

2.      Widows who cannot fend for themselves.

3.      The aged above 65 years who cannot fend for themselves.

4.      Orphans who cannot fend for themselves.

5.      Orphans in school who cannot pay their school fees.

6.      Orphans who desire to further their education, but do not have a sponsor.

7.      The sick that fall into the category of beneficiaries.

8.      Students who scored 2.0 and above in their first year.

9.      Others.

IV.       PARTNERS:

1.      Host Church or Denomination.

2.      Corporate bodies.

3.      Individuals.

4.      Non-governmental Organization (NGOs).

5.      Governments.

6.      International bodies.

V.        WHEN TO BENEFIT:

1.      Monthly – Outreach to neighborhood.

2.      Quarterly – Widows, Aged, Orphans, Orphanage homes, Less privileged, etc.

3.      Yearly – Scholarship.
