INTRODUCING THE MINISTRY

The Youth for Christ END-TIME Ministries is a Christian

Organization. It is a non-profit making organization that depends on the financial contributions of individuals and corporate bodies to carry out her programmes and vision.

Purpose:

The primary purpose for establishing the Youth for Chris End-time Ministries is to evangelize the youths. Also, it was established to consolidate the efforts of other Christian organizations in disciplying believers and winning the world for Christ. It was also established to train youth leaders, and Church workers for the Christian church.

Vision:

The Youth for Christ End-time Ministries was born out of a

vision God gave to Revd. Abednego O.F. Oghenekevwe in 1978/79 to

reach the youths who are poor, broken hearted, held captive by

satan and sin, and spiritually blind to the truths of God's word,

and bruised by the effect of sin for Christ (Luke 4:18).

Strategy:

In order to achieve the purpose and vision of the Youth for

Christ End-time Ministries, the following departments and

programmes were formed and mapped out respectively:

Statement of Faith:

1.    We believe in one true and living God, who is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable; in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - Deut. 33:27; Ps. 86:10; Is. 44:8; 45:22; 46:9; Mk 12:32; Jn 4:24.

2.    We believe in the creation of all things and man by God for His own plan and purpose - Gen 1:1, 26, 27; MK 10:6; 13:19; Rom 1:20.

3.    We believe the Holy Scriptures is the word of God and given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit - II Tim 3:16; I Peter 1:25; II Peter 1:21.

4.    We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, His virgin birth; real man and real God; His perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world on the cross; His death on the cross; His bodily resurrection from the dead; His appearances to His disciples; His ascension into heaven; His present Ministry of intercession, and His second coming in power and glory - Jn 1:18; 3:16; 14:1- 3;Mtt 1:23.

5.    We believe in the Holy Spirit by whose illumination, conviction and regeneration men are brought to repentance, conversion and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; His continuing work of sanctification in the lives of Christians who constantly yield to Him, His keeping power and direction of worship, ministry, and administration of the Christian church - Act 1:8; Eph 4:1 - 5:17; I Thess. 5:23; II Thess. 2:13.

6.    We believe in the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit; in the manifestation of any gift of the Holy Spirit in believers including speaking in tongues. - Gal 5:22,23; Eph 4:7 - 15; I Cor 12:4 -11; 14:1-5.

7.    We believe in the fall of the first man, Adam, and the consequent sinfulness, guilt and condemnation of all men; the justification of all who believe in Jesus Christ; their regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit into adoption as children of God - Gen 3:1-19; Act 4:12; Rom 3:21- 26; II Cor 5:21.

8.    We believe in Christian suffering and the role it plays in this life and in the world to come - Mtt 16:21;17:12; Lk 24:46; Rom 8:17; I Cor 12:26; II Tim 2:12; 3:12; I Peter 2:21; Rev 2:7,17, 26-28; 3:5, 12; Hebs 12:3-13.

9.    We believe in the resurrection of the body and final judgment of all men; the eternal perfection and blessedness of the saved and eternal punishment of the lost - I Cor 15; I Thess 4:13-18; Rev 21:7-22:7; 20:10-15.

10.  We believe marriage is a holy and honourable estate, instituted by God for fellowship, partnership, communion, and procreation of children, and which can be dissolved only by death - Gen. 2:18-25; Hebs 13:4; Mtt 19:3-10;

I Cor. 7:1-16.

11.  We believe in monogamy as the ideal estate of family life according to the scriptures - Mtt. 19:3; I Cor. 7:1-16.

12.    We believe in baptism by immersion - Mk 1:5; Rom. 6:1-10.

13. We believe in the observance of the Lord's Supper, only persons who are believers shall qualify to take part: Mtt 26:26-29; Mt 14:22-25; Lk 22:17-20; I Cor. 11:23-25; I Cor 11.

14.  We believe in women covering their head properly during public worship -   I Cor. 11.

15.  We believe in moderation as Christians - I Peter 3:3-4

16.  We believe in the great Commission; a command that must be obeyed by every Christian and the church; a ministry to believers and unbelievers alike; for the purpose of teaching, training, discipling believers, and evangelising the world with the purpose of winning it for Christ - Mtt. 28:18-20; MK. 16:15-18.

17.  We believe God is LOVE and that those who believe in Him through faith in Christ must walk in Love and total obedience, thereby, fulfilling the Law- I Jn 4:8, 16; I Cor 13:1-8; Rom 12:1-21.

18.  We believe in giving Tithes, Offerings, and Gifts, and that it is herein God commands His blessings - Mal. 3:10-11; II Cor. 8:1-9:15.

Conclusion:

The youths form the majority in our society and are found in all

works of life. The future of the church and nations depend upon

the foundation we lay for them today. We believe they have been

neglected for too long and we must do something to help them.

Therefore, we invite you to join us in this crusade tagged

"Operation Rescue the youths" in order to Rescue the youths to

win the world for Christ". We need your moral, spiritual, and

financial supports, to make this vision a reality.
